Canvas suspender for U.S. Army medics and litter bearers, a reproduction of the model used during World War II.

Listed by the Medical Department under reference 9709500 as “Kit Component, Suspender”, this harness formed part of the medical personnel’s individual equipment and was notably used to carry medical pouches.

Its loops also allowed the attachment of litter carrying straps, reference 9708000, designed to assist in carrying a wounded soldier on a litter and to better distribute the load on the bearer.
